Shakespeare in the Park returns to Forest Park May 27th through June 21rd! For the fifth year in a row, HuSTL Hospitality Group will be providing food & drink with hot dogs, brats and fries from Steve’s Hot Dogs and salads, sandwiches, cocktails and charcuterie from The Fountain on Locust as well!
To kick off the season, we are giving away a Shakespeare Festival VIP Package including a VIP Box, VIP parking and a show poster for the date of your choice (barring a few blackout dates).
This year’s show is “The Tempest.” In this larger-than-life presentation of William Shakespeare’s most enchanting romance, expect mischief, magic and plots of revenge in epic proportions. After a violent storm, travelers wash ashore on a mysterious island where nothing is quite as it seems. Ruled by Prospero - a mother and sorcerer haunted by betrayal - the island becomes a place where old wounds resurface. The Tempest is a spellbinding story of forgiveness, love and finding your way home.
Performance schedule: Tuesday-Sunday, nightly at 8 p.m. at Shakespeare Glen in Forest Park
