Looking for a great gig in a fast-paced environment with tons of room for growth? Join the crew at The Fountain on Locust! A Midtown St. Louis icon, The Fountain on Locust is a retro art deco ice cream bar with lunch and dinner service 6 days per week.

We're looking for a friendly, outgoing individual to join our AMAZING team as Lead Host.

ALL Front of House Staff at The Fountain on Locust MUST:

  • Have a sense of urgency in service and be willing to move quickly.

  • Be a servant leader who finds JOY in the service of others and in helping their fellow team members.

  • Be excited to deliver WOW moments in service

Our team loves working in a familial, creative & campy atmosphere where, with good service, tips can be generous. Starting as Lead Host, we'll teach you top-notch tricks of the trade, paving the way to advanced opportunities. Lead Host will ultimately be accountable for training new hosts in accordance with our service standards. They will work with the Director of Operations to ensure training is always kept up to date and with keeping records of training progress with each employee.

Our team members are all hard-working, fast on their feet, coachable, and quality-oriented. You should be too. And listen up – those who dazzle us will score plenty of chances for promotion and new opportunities.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Guaranteed minimum pay of $17/hour after tip out

  • Paid time off at 6 months of employment (Accrued time off based on average hours work)

Opportunity for additional hours and opportunities at our sister concepts Steve's Hot Dogs and Steve's Meltdown, and/or our new locations opening this Spring in the Delmar Maker's District. The Fountain on Locust is part of the HuSTL Hospitality family.

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
