Harmonizing Flavors: A Special Symphony Menu at The Fountain on Locust
As the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra (SLSO) prepares to take the stage for its 2025/26 season, we're thrilled to introduce a special menu at The Fountain on Locust that's music to your taste buds. Located just a stone's throw from Powell Hall, our Art Deco cafe is the perfect spot to indulge in sweet and savory treats before enjoying a performance.
Our Symphony-Inspired Menu
For the month of September, we're featuring four exclusive menu items that pay homage to the SLSO's rich musical heritage.
Concerto Chocolate Sundae: A decadent duet of dark chocolate and Almond Joy ice cream, swirled with caramel, peanut butter, and crunchy almond harmony.
Nocturne Negroni: A rich and velvety blend of Negroni classics and dark chocolate, finished with a bittersweet whisper of cocoa and orange.
Sherbet Serenade Sundae: A citrus virtuoso, blending orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream with sweet raspberry sauce and rich hot fudge, all conducted by a fluffy whipped cream finale.
Tarantella Tiramisu Ice Cream Martini: A crescendo of flavors where rich espresso and dark cacao harmonize with creamy vanilla and a symphony of coffee liqueurs, finished with a chocolate scratch finale.
Experience the Best of Both Worlds
The SLSO's 2025/26 season marks its 146th year, with Stéphane Denève at the helm as The Joseph and Emily Rauh Pulitzer Music Director. We're honored to be a part of the city's vibrant arts and culture scene and can't wait for you to experience the harmony of flavors and music.
Visit us at The Fountain on Locust throughout September to indulge in these special treats before enjoying a performance at Powell Hall. We look forward to serving you!
